Xing Fu Tang Coquitlam location has been a spot that we visit once in a while when we are unsure of where to go for drinks in Coquitlam. Xing Fu Tang Coquitlam is located beside Coquitlam Centre and across from Henderson Place and took over the location of Tea Lab that used to be there. They have their own parking lot area as well for convenience.
Signature brown sugar milk tea
We had to get this drink because it’s their signature! Compared to other brown sugar milk teas we’ve had before, this one was much more creamy and rich in flavour. The flavour of the milk tea was almost caramel-like from the brown sugar and the richness reminded us of chocolate milk. There wasn’t much of a tea flavour in it but we didn’t mind because it was so delicious!
Lime green tea
This drink can be customized for sugar levels but you’re unable to change the ice because it helps hold the lime wheels up in the drink. I don’t recommend you getting it unsweetened though because it may be sour. We got this drink 75% sugar but it was still far too sour. The drink also had floral notes in it which didn’t go well with the citrus flavours in our opinion. The pearls were pink which was great aesthetically but texturally, they were hard and not chewy. We wouldn’t recommend this drink.
