Even though Snowy Village is known for their bingsoo, Grayson and I usually come for the taiyaki. Taiyaki are filled pastries and the way they do it here is extra decadent because they use croissant pastry instead of a batter! This makes the Taiyaki super crispy and flaky on the outside to contrast the soft filling.

We had to wait for a while since there were quite a few bingsoo and taiyaki orders ahead of us but it was sooo worth the wait. By the time we finally got our taiyakis, we were practically drooling because we had been watching and smelling them make so many of them before it got to our turn!
Ham and cheese cro-tai
This time the two of us decided to try a new flavor. I got the red bean mochi one and Grayson got the ham and cheese. The red bean mochi was a bit disappointing because the mochi wasn’t heated enough so it wasn’t super chewy. There was a good amount of red bean to spread around the pastry though
As for the ham and cheese? Well, see for yourself how gooey it was on the inside!
