Rain or shine

Rain or shine? As in it’s time for ice cream any time of day and in any weather?

Yeah? I think so too.

Any time is ice cream time.

I went to Rain or Shine a little while ago because Oracle wanted ice cream. Originally we were going to head on over to Earnest Ice Cream, but she had never been to Rain or Shine so we decided to go here instead.

Upon walking into their store front, all we could smell were their delicious homemade waffle cones!

Types of scoops

I absolutely adore waffle cones and wanted one but since we were going to go for a walk after, I opted to go for a more portable option…their sundae cups!

Then after trying practically all the specialty flavors on the menu including their vegan Chocolate Coconut Chunk, Malted Milk Chocolate Honeycomb, and Blackberry Lime Sorbet…

Blueberry Balsamic

Finally, I decided to go with a scoop of the Blueberry Balsamic!

I picked this one because it was both sweet and sour at the same time and as someone who loves sweet and salty combinations, this was the perfect one for me!

I was also surprised as to how BIG the scoop was! Even though it was a single scoop, I swear it was closer to two! It was definitely more than enough for me (as much as I love ice cream) and I kind of wish I could of had it half scoop of two different flavors instead.

Would I come back?
Yeup! I later found out they had Cracked Chocolate Mint which is their rendition of mint chip which is my favorite flavor of all time…so I was disappointed but that I means I have to come back!
