You’re greeted by the staff and a giant menu board when you first walk into the poke shop. They offer 4 signature bowls to choose from. If you’re not a fan of them, you can opt to create your own instead.

Small bowls are $10.50 (1 protein), Medium bowls are $13 (2 proteins) and large bowls are $15.50 (3 proteins).

If you would like a premium bowl, you can choose the gold bowl. This bowl has an assortment of high quality seafood items. While we were there, we saw someone order this premium bowl. The portion was smaller than what you would get with the regular bowls but it was quite the sight to see.

Something that they are very careful about here is portion control. They make ensure that they don’t make too much of each poke item. This way, they don’t need to contribute to food waste. They also measure everything out on a scale before putting it in your bowl to make sure it’s the proper portion every time.

Red bowl

I decided to get the red bowl with brown rice. The mix of flavours was amazing! It was spicy from the fish but tangy from the kimchi and pickled carrots. The ratio of toppings to rice was also great because every bite had a good amount of everything! Loved it!

Yellow bowl

Grayson got the yellow bowl. He liked that it had bright and fresh flavors. The egg omelette they use is premade though because it was quite bright yellow in colour and the pineapple in the salsa was also canned. It would have been better if these things were made fresh instead. His favorite part about it was the pokey okey sauce and the tempura flakes. He said those made the bowls by adding a nice flavour profile and cruchy texture. Needless to say, we will be back!
