After our first visit to Peaked Pies Vancouver, we decided to visit them again because we were so impressed the first time. This time we decided to try a few different pastries.
We started off with the sausage roll. The sausage roll was no joke. It was stuffed full of sausage and wrapped with the flakiest golden brown pastry.
Curry beef pie
This curry beef pie was something we’ve never had before. Similar to the hopper, this curry beef pie was filled with beef! There were lots of warm spices mixed in with the curry pie which made it perfect for a chilly day. It wasn’t spiced enough for it to be spicy but it was enough for you to know it’s there.
Anzac biscuit
We weren’t able to try this biscuit on our last visit because they ran out so we were excited to finally try it out. This cookie was made with oats and super chewy! I thought that the cookie would be quite sweet but it wasn’t. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth and this was the perfect cookie for me.
