Yes! We are at another Nando’s flame-grilled chicken location! It feels like we have been to all of the Nando’s restaurants by now but there seem to be more we have yet to visit! If you’ve never been to a Nando’s flame-grilled chicken location before, you’re missing out and here’s why!
Nando’s mango lime chicken
My chicken was practically swimming in mango lime sauce and I wasn’t too happy about it! I’ve never had this happen at Nando’s before and I’m generally okay with lots of sauce but this was far too much. I prefer to apply it myself.
Grayson helped me debone my chicken as I scraped the sauce off my chicken. I always told myself that I need to get a guy who will help me debone meat and here I am with one so yay me. Really though, I never tell him to do it he just does it because he knows it creeps me out. heh.
Nando’s plain-ish chicken
Compared to my piece of chicken, Grayson’s plain-ish chicken didn’t have any sauce at all since it was “plain-ish” so he ended up using some of the mango lime from mine. I just thought it was a bit odd that they prepared the chicken differently at this location compared to the others.
Garlic mashed potatoes
On a different visit, our chicken wasn’t drenched in sauce even though we both ordered mango-lime so there needs to be some work on consistency here. This time we tried the mashed potatoes and goodness they were soooo creamy and smooth.
They were also super garlic-y so if you’re not a fan of garlic, beware. I’m okay with garlic and even I thought it was a bit much. I tried to stop having it because it was too intense for me but I couldn’t stop because it was just too silky! Someone tell me how to make these at home!
