Legend Noodle House

Grayson and I have been craving Northern Chinese food lately and where better than to satisfy it by heading over to Legend Noodle House? Legend Noodle House is located in a plaza across from Coquitlam Centre.

Chili wonton

Not the best wontons we’ve ever had because they were oddly dry to bite into. Yes to the chili sauce on them but we would probably go for the dumplings instead next time.

Chili chicken

This is a cold chicken dish topped with….you guessed it, chili sauce. Grayson got a bowl of rice to go with it and liked how the rice warmed the chicken back up a little bit. I don’t usually have any of this because of how tedious it is to eat but I got to have all the easy to eat pieces so I didn’t complain. The meat was tender and once you got used to the fact that it’s cold, it’s actually quite pleasant.

Steamed cold noodle

These steamed noodles were knife cut so they were thick and ribbony. What steaming does to the noodles is make it chewier in texture than boiling them. I wish I could say that I notice a difference though.

The noodles had a sesame sauce on them but there could of been more of it because I found them dry even when everything was mixed together. The cucumber and bean sprouts added crunchiness to the softness of the noodles. Overall it was a delicious bowl of noodles to try and I can’t wait to try more of their noodle varieties!
