Hello friends! I’m super excited to tell you all about a new hidden bubble tea cafe I found in New Westminister skytrain station! Bobacabana cafe has quickly become our go-to cafe in New West because. Not only do they have a cute pineapple logo, but Bobacabana cafe also offers healthier bubble tea options.

Instead of using milk powder, they use fresh milk and offers almond/soy milk for those who are lactose intolerant or vegan. They also offer real fruit smoothies and power smoothies that come with greens. As a matter of fact, in addition to the traditional bubble tea add-ons they also offer chia seeds, hemp seeds, and whey protein!
That’s not to say that they only have healthy options though because they have their fair share of ice cream slushes and delicious Fall specials with lots of fun things in it!
If having a drink isn’t enough they also offer desserts in a pastry fridge and in-house Belgian waffles with all sorts of toppings!
Matcha fresh milk with pearls
I decided to get a matcha fresh milk tea with pearls for a lovely total of $5 which isn’t a bad price point in my opinion. The milk tea was strong in matcha flavor but it tasted oddly powdery in texture. I wasn’t a fan of that or the fact that some of the pearls were stuck together.
Longan honey tea
Grayson went with the longan honey tea because he wanted something hot. He said that he doesn’t see this on menus very often so he’s glad to have been able to order it here. It was not too sweet and had just enough longan for you to notice that it’s in there. So like Goldilocks, he said it was just right.
