I’ve been having my fair share of happy hour time lately. I can’t help it, the sunshine makes happy hour enticing! So here we are at Cactus Club for another round of happy hour!
Happy hour sunset soda
On my last visit, I ordered the peach sunset soda so this time I decided to try the passion fruit one instead. This one was less sweet and had a bit of tartness. I enjoyed it more than the original. These are going to probably be my new go to drink here. While bellinis are great, they usually end up being too sweet for me so these are a happy medium between your vodka soda and fruity bellini.
Truffle fries
Half way through our visit, we started to want something to snack on so we got the $4 truffle fries. The fries were thin cut and sprinkled with seasoning before being topped with shredded cheese. There wasn’t enough cheese on top to add a significant level of flavor but it was a nice touch. A majority of the flavor came from the garlic aioli that came with the truffle fries though. It was a great alternative to ketchup which wouldn’t have paired well with the truffle flavor.
