Yi Fang – West end

Hi! Hope everyone is having a fabulous day. Can you believe that it’s December already? It’s crazy how time flies! Grayson and I have been going to Yi Fang whenever we have been wanting fresh fruit tea because their teas are always super refreshing!

As with all the other locations, this Yi Fang location has a wooden store front style counter you order at with woodsy themes throughout the cafe. I like it because it reminds of when I was living in Taiwan and it really brings me back. I also like how they display the fruit they use in their dishes and have a stove top in the front to cook their black sugar pearls in! That’s how you know they try to make their drinks as fresh as possible.

Lemon tea with aiyu jelly

It was similar to having a lemonade! Apparently they use a whole lemon in each of these which is perfect for getting a Vitamin C boost. If you don’t get the drink sweetened, be prepared to pucker up because it’s quite sour without any sweetner. The aiyu jelly doesn’t have much flavor to it but it adds a nice texture to the drink. It’s also good for your health! I had a lot of this when I was living in Taiwan because I loved it so much!

Pineapple green tea

Grayson decided to get the pineapple green tea again because it was so good the first time he tried it a few weeks ago. The tea is light and the pineapple adds a welcomed sweetness. This has quickly become one of his favorite drinks of all time.
