Wushiland black tea boba latte

Wushiland (50嵐) is yet another bubble tea spot that has come to us from Asia. They opened their Richmond location not too long ago and now expanded to a location at Metrotown. Their Metrotown location is pretty hidden beside T&T so you wouldn’t know it was there unless you were looking.

Their menu is pretty standard with milk teas tea lattes, fruit teas, and brewed teas. One of wushiland’s speciality items are their sorbetto drinks where they add a scoop or sorbet on top of their drinks! How fun! They also offer two different types of tapioca options. One are pearls and the other are boba which are smaller sized pearls. I like that they offer both and you can even choose to mix them if you like!

Orange green tea

I’ve had the fresh orange tea from Milksha before so I wanted to try the one here. The orange green tea here is stronger in tea flavour and less orange-y. I personally prefer the one from Milksha better because I liked the orange notes of it but this is good for those who enjoy stronger tea flavours.

Black tea latte with pearls

Their black tea latte on the other hand was amazing! It was full of smoky flavour with the richness from the milk to balance it out. It was one of the stronger black tea lattes I’ve had and the pearls were perfectly chewy to make the drink all the more delicious.

Wushiland may be on the pricier side of bubble tea spots in the Burnaby area but their quality ingredients reflect their pricing. I’d definitely go back to try their ultimate chew drink or one of their sorbetto options!
