Every once in a while, Grayson craves fried chicken so we thought that it would be a perfect opportunity for us to use the coupons we got for Win Win Chick-N a while back. Win Win Chick-N is located in Steveston near the wharf. It’s not a shop big enough for people to sit down and eat in but since its so close to the water, it’s almost a better choice to eat outside.

Since it’s such a small shop, the menu isn’t very extensive. They offer fried chicken drumsticks and sides including mashed potatoes, fries and Filipino macaroni. You can either order the two separately or together as a combo special.
The chicken there isn’t fried to order. Instead, it sits in a warming oven at the front of the shop.

Grayson and I both got the two piece chicken with macaroni. The chicken was very crispy which is indicative of good fried chicken but it didn’t have a lot of flavor and it wasn’t very juicy either. The macaroni on the other hand, had a sweet tomato sauce and hotdogs inside it. There was lots of sauce to make it nice and flavorful but if you’re not into having your savory foods sweet, this might not be the side dish for you. Overall, we weren’t especially impressed with Win Win Chick-N but it was nice to try out.
