Quiznos restaurant was founded way back in 1981 in Denver. Since then they have been serving tasty sandwiches in 35 different countries. Quiznos restaurant offers chef-inspired sandwiches and salads using quality ingredients.
Gyro collection
Their latest creation is their gyro collection. They offer it as a sub and a wrap. Both the sandwich and the wrap are filled with slices of beef gyro, lettuce, and tomatoes.
Gyro sub
We liked the sub version better because it was much more filling. There was a good balance of flavors between the veggies and the sliced pieces of meat when you ate everything together but the meat was too salty on it’s own.
Gyro wrap
The wrap was much more “meaty” than the sub because there wasn’t any bread to get through before you got to the filling. They also cut the wrap in half and place it into two separate rolls so that you don’t have the inconvenience of trying to hold a 12″ wrap to eat.
Turkey sub
While we were there, we also picked up a turkey sub to have for lunch the next day. We decided to go with the ranch flavor. They also offer a turkey guacamole flavor which also sounds awesome.
This one had noticeably less filling compared to the gyro one. This was a bit disappointing because it could of used more veggies and protein. Regardless, it was a tasty sandwich to have for lunch and the best part about it was that it didn’t get soggy even though we ate it the next day!
Disclaimer: Quizno’s provided the gyro wrap and sub to me complimentary to taste test for a review. All opinions are honest and my own.
