Bai Bua Thai Cuisine

Lil bun, mother deer and I wanted to go out for lunch after grocery shopping. We were going up along Hastings street and being that I passed by Bai Bua Thai on my commute to school practically every day, I figured that it was about time that we go by.

Since we were at Bai bua Thai for lunch, our meal came with complimentary soup and prawn chips.

I thought the chips were crispy but they didn’t taste like shrimp and tasted more like the oil they were fried in. As for the soup…it was merely MSG soup.

Sukho Thai

This bowl of rice noodle had a tamarind based broth that was both sweet, spicy and sour at the same time. The chicken in it was all white meat but it wasn’t try. There was a good kick to it because of the red chili peppers and there was definitely enough noodles to fill me up

+1 for the Curry Noodle! Also fun fact: the regular Pad Thai entree comes standard with prawns for $11 and the noodle quantity is very similar. Still a great deal and one of my favs 🙂
