So I’ve know about the existence of Kilala for quite a few years now but have not gotten myself down the street to go there. Kilala sushi is located on Hastings Street in Burnaby Heights. It’s a bit of a hidden spot but they do have a large sign to show where it is.
Sushi
Tentatsu
On the way home from watching a recital downtown, mother deer decided that she didn’t feel like cooking dinner so she asked lil’ bun if she wanted some sushi. We were debating where to go, and went with Tentatsu on Nanaimo because we haven’t paid this place a visit in a while.
Sushi California (kitsilano)
I needed to run an errand in the Kitsilano area so we ended up having dinner there as well. Sushi California is our go-to Japanese sushi spot in the area because they have such large portions! Sushi California actually reminded me a bit of sushi town or Nanaimo sushi because everything on the menu was quite affordable.
Torafuku
Torafuku offers Asian fusion dishes and was one of the spots to visit for Dineout Vancouver! The Torafuku menu was $30 a person and the strange thing was that they brought everything to the table to be shared between everyone and there definitely wasn’t enough food.
Sushi loku
Sushi Loku is definitely one of my favorite Japanese restaurants to go to in Vancouver. Sushi loku serves delicious fresh seafood and emphasize on a-la-carte Japanese dishes over sushi
Sushiville
Sushiville is actually one of my favorite places to go for sushi because not only do they have tons of unique rolls, but it’s pretty portion size friendly! I just like going to Sushiville because they offer you the option to upgrade your rolls to being “giant” for only $2 more.
