Buddha-full

Hello friends! A little while ago on Instagram, I mentioned that I was going on a back to health journey. It’s just so easy to go off track and continue down that road. So, I’m trying to get back on the wellness train and fuel myself with good food. Buddha-full has been one of the places I’ve been loving when I need to go out for a meal.

Even though there are lots of healthy food options at Buddha-full, the thing that caught my eye was their awesome swing chairs. I must warn you though because they are a little tricky to get on and off. They also have table seating and a little reading nook at the back of the cafe.

In terms of food, Buddha-full offers a variety of pastries, savory food items, desserts, hot drinks, juices, smoothies and natural dog treats. Their menu items are also vegan!

Their hot drinks come in 8oz/12oz/16oz and their smoothies come in 16oz/20oz. They also offer 1 day, 3 day and 5 day juice cleanse kits but you need to give them advance notice for those.

Chia pudding

Oracle got the chia pudding ($6.95) which was made up of a base of raspberry overnight oats, a layer of coconut chia pudding, before being topped with berries and mango. The chia pudding was creamy and the overnight oats were soaked to a perfect consistency. There wasn’t any added sweetener to the pudding so all the sweetness came from the fruits which we appreciated.

Choco-maca-chaga drink

I decided to get the choco-maca-chaga drink which was their version of a mocha. Once I chose the drink, I was able to choose between coconut, almond and oat mylk for the base. I decided to go with coconut mylk because that was the one I was most familiar with.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but the drink was surprisingly rich. This was probably because it was made with their homemade chocolate coconut cream. The espresso shot in it was surprisingly strong and you could just feel the caffeine buzzing through your system. The drink also had a cinnamon note to it which made it feel a little spicy and warm. Even though it was tasty, I actually didn’t end up finishing it because it ended up being too sweet for me. I took the rest home and finished it after adding some more mylk to it so that it would water down a bit.

Buddha-full is perfect for all the healthy nuts out there but their prices are a bit on the steep side so be prepared to splurge a little bit. With that being said, we could tell that they put a lot of care into their products because they make everything in-house so it does justify the pricing.
