Beard papa’s is a cafe that serves a variety of flavours of cream puffs as well as chocolate fondant, cheesecake sticks and bubble tea drinks.
After dinner, I was surprised to find that mother deer had bought a box of Beard Papa’s cream puffs. It’s been a while since I’ve had one of these. She said that their prices have gone up by a dollar since the last time we’ve had them. However they’re worth the money because they are just so delicious.
She got 2 of each of the vanilla, green tea and mango cream puffs from Beard papa’s. I’ve already done a review of the mango one before, so I’m going to talk about the green tea one this time.
The green tea puffs are my favourite because the custard isn’t too over powering with matcha flavour so it doesn’t end up tasting grassy at all. As with all their cream puffs, the custard in this one doesn’t fail to be light and velvety smooth. I also absolutely adore the green tea icing powder they dust on top
On another visit I tried the cheesecake sticks from here and it wasn’t as good as the cream puffs. The cheesecake was firm which was nice but it was a bit too sweet for my liking.
