Banana quinoa bake (clean eats/gluten-free)

I totally saved the best for last because on this final day of the whole clean eats series…I present to you Banana quinoa protein bake! Well, not that I’m not going to post clean recipes anymore but this post concludes my 30 straight days of clean eat posts.

Anyways, I absolutely adore this bake because it tastes EXACTLY like BANANA BREAD! Banana bread is hands down my most favorite pastry of all time.This is a perfect healthy alternative to it! Not to mention that it’s packed full of protein so it’s the perfect thing for me who’s lacking in it to have!

For a vegan version, use a flax egg, another banana or egg replacer. If you’re not gluten free you can use oats instead of quinoa as well. And, if you’re a peanut butter lover, feel free to add some of that in there instead of the cinnamon (:

I can’t explain how AMAZING this Banana quinoa bake smelled in the oven. I think the absolute hardest part about this entire recipe was how hard it was to wait for it to bake.

    Omg they look and sound amazing! I don’t have currants though so I might try it with blueberries instead!
