Taiwanese dessert cafes have been popping up all over the Vancouver area. The most popular addition has been Blackball Taiwanese Dessert. Naturally, I was curious about what the hype was about so I decided to head over to the Kingsway location of Blackball Taiwanese Dessert.

Dinesty Dumpling House a popular Chinese restaurants in Vancouver. There are a few locations throughout the metro-Vancouver area including downtown, Burnaby and Richmond. Dinesty Dumpling House offers traditional dim sum, noodles, rice, seafood, entrees, and rice dishes!
Uncle Lu Richmond
Uncle Lu is located in Continental plaza in Richmond. It’s located in a corner spot so you’ll have to look close or you’ll miss it. Uncle Lu offers a variety of Chinese style dishes including entrees, rice, noodles and desserts. The restaurant has a few small tables for dine-in option and they also offer take-out.
Ooleaf tea lounge Richmond
Ooleaf Tea Lounge is a tea lounge that is located in Richmond on the lower level of Aberdeen Square. They offer premium tea drinks made with amazing quality. We went to Ooleaf Tea Lounge after dinner one evening and it wasn’t too busy.

Tea 18 Burnaby is a bubble tea shop located along Kingsway. They offer Taiwanese style teas including yogurt drinks, fruit teas, and foam teas. I haven’t been there in awhile so I decided to give them a revisit on their one year anniversary!
