After our Sunday lunch we headed off to the Renfrew area so that brother deer could get his biweekly haircut. By this time lil bun was hungry all over again so the rest of us headed off to Etea so she could get a snack. I usually get the hot and sour soup here because I go around tea time so it’s a good deal for a big bowl of soup (: Lil’ bun and Mother deer either get the noodle combo or a spaghetti dish of sorts. The food here is pretty standard and the service is alright. Banner loves coming here though because he absolutely adores the popcorn chicken. Anyway, since we had already eaten lunch, lil’ bun just wanted a snack and mother deer let her order the mango volcano toast. It’s thick toast with mango, chocolate, and condensed milk drizzle topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. What more can a kid ask for as a snack? Although she was disappointed that it got too sweet half way through and that the ice cream wasn’t mango, she finished off her plate just fine.
