Truedan Richmond

Truedan, formerly known as Jenjudan, has become our go-to tea spot as of late. Truedan Richmond is located by Landowne mall and has a small storefront so there is no seating area. We decided to do a pickup order for Truedan Richmond and the process was seamless. We went in to the cafe and our drinks were set on a separate pick-up area so we didn’t have to wait in line.

Truedan remains dedicated to turning our bubble into “elixirs.” A year of continuous experiments and refinements to our proportions later, we have developed the perfect 0.85cm bite-size bubble. They are bathed in hand-cooked brown sugar and served with milk from carefully selected independent dairy farms. With this, we have popularized a Taiwanese delicacy, the Brown Sugar Bubble with Milk.

Lemon earl grey tea

Grayson loves his earl grey tea so it was only natural for him to order the earl grey tea. The earl grey tea had strong lemon flavour as though they mixed earl grey tea with their signature lemonade. He ordered the drink with the original sweetness level and he was happy with the way it tasted. He also liked that the ice was crushed instead of being cubed because it allowed there to be more tea! The crushed ice also lightly cooled the drink throughout the day.

Orange jasmine green tea

I’ve been hearing all sorts of things about orange jasmine tea drinks lately so I decided to try one for myself. To my surprise, the drink was light and refreshing. I love that the orange juice was fresh and added brightness to the light tea. I have a feeling that this will be my new go-to drink! It’s comparable to the one from Suntea but this one is a little sweeter.
