Back to Tea18 fresh tea! An oldie but a goodie. Tea18 fresh tea is located at a plaza along Kingsway. They specialize in Taiwanese tea, fresh milk tea, and house-made tapioca pearls.
I don’t usually pick their plain teas but I was so glad to have found this one! It was lightly sweetened by the lychee and had floral notes as well. If you’re a fan of fruity drinks but don’t want one with syrup this is the one for you. I got this with their rose pearls. They don’t have a very strong rose flavour to it but they just look a nice shade of pink!
Grayson decided to try their fresh milk tea. You can choose to get this with their green, black or oolong tea. He went with the oolong. He said that the milk tea had smoky and earthy notes to it. However, since there was quite a bit of milk in it, the tea notes were subtle. He decided to get the drink with their caramel pearls because he has yet to try them. The pearls were soft and chewy with sweet notes. It reminded him of the regular tapioca pearls but not as sweet.
Tea18, you never disappoint! Come for their unique tapioca pearls and authentic Taiwanese teas!
