Breka Bakery has multiple locations throughout the Metro Vancouver area. Breka Bakery isn’t only known for their baked goods. They are also known for being open 24-hours a day! That means you can grab your muffins, cakes, bread, pastries and cafe drinks any time of the day.

Mango coconut filled donut

I have never had a mango coconut donut before so I was so excited to try this tropical delight out! This donut was bursting with mango flavour. There was mango icing on top and inside the donut! The donut was soft and fluffy in texture which in my opinion is the best kind of donut texture. It was filled with the perfect amount of creamy mango centre. It was a bit too sweet for me but otherwise, perfect!

Apple fritter

This was the BIGGEST donut I’ve ever seen in my life! It was the size of 2-3 donuts! The dough was fluffy just like with the mango donut and it had a few apple pieces inside. I would have liked more apples because I’m an apple fanatic but the fluffiness of the donut made up for it.

White chocolate blueberry scone

This was my FAVOURITE item of the bag. The white chocolate blueberry scone. Who would have thought you could make a magnificent blueberry scone even better than it already is? The blueberries and white chocolate chips were studded throughout the scone so that you had some in every bite. The scone was buttery and flaky but still held together. It was a great afternoon pick-me-up treat with a cup of tea.

Carrot walnut muffin

I was excited to try this carrot walnut muffin because I am such a fan of carrot cake. While the muffin was moist and had pieces of walnuts and carrots in it, I wasn’t a huge fan of this one. It had a strange taste to it that I wasn’t a fan of.

Blueberry streusel muffin

Blueberry streusel muffins are such a staple when it comes to bakery items. This blueberry muffin was super fluffy and the streusel on top added the perfect amount of sweetness. I wish there were more blueberries in it because there wasn’t enough for us to get one in every bite.
