720 Sweets

Hello friends! Summer is just wrapping up but I’m not giving up the cold sweet treats just yet! The other day, I went to try 720 sweets for the first time! I’ve seen them around a lot but it has not been hot enough for me to want ice cream until recently. Plus, ice cream cones from 720 Sweets are $2 each!

They had ice cream parfaits and ice cream cones to choose from but since Grayson wouldn’t help me finish the parfait I decided to go with a cone instead. At the Burnaby location inside Metrotown mall, they only offer 2 flavours of ice cream, cereal milk and matcha. We decided to go with matcha because Grayson said that the cereal milk one might be a bit too sweet for our liking.

I’m glad we ended up choosing the matcha one because it was sooo good. Unlike other matcha ice cream I’ve had in the past, it had a very strong earthy matcha flavour. You can tell because of how green it is as well. The ice cream was also very firm which I appreciated because it prevented it from melting!

It was actually so good that we ended up getting another one to share…heh. This time we got it with the charcoal cone (at no extra cost!) to change it up a bit. The flavour of the cone wasn’t any different but it was neat to try it with a charcoal cone 🙂
