Xing Fu Tang Vancouver franchise locations have been popping up all over the map! They now have 7 locations spread out all over the metro vancouver area. Xing Fu Tang Vancouver is known for their signature brown sugar pearls that are made with a unique cooking process to allow for the perfect amount of flavour and chew!

The interior of the Xing Fu Tang Kingsway location is largely spacious on the inside with seating throughout. The order counter is right when you walk in the door and the service was friendly!

This brown sugar stewing pan is a signature item at Xing Fu Tang. You’ll find it at every location and it looks super cool when it’s on. The baristas use the large scoop to move around the brown sugar pearls to ensure that they absorb lots of flavour and stew slowly to ensure they have the perfect texture.

Signature Brown Sugar Milk

This was the first time I’ve ever ordered their brown sugar milk because I usually order their brown sugar milk tea. I ordered the drink cold without ice expecting it to be cold milk but turns out it was actually warm milk! Typically, I wouldn’t be happy about getting something I didn’t expect but it was such a cold day that it was perfect! I don’t ever order my milk teas warm but if I ever have to do it again, this would be the place to do it. The milk warmed me up and the caramel flavour that came from it made it absolutely delectable. To top it all off, the brown sugar pearls were soft and chewy making it the perfect bubble tea experience!

Matcha Milk with Strawberry Pearls

I’ve been eyeing this drink for a while now and I finally decided to give it a go! The matcha flavour was strong but you didn’t get any powderiness or grassiness from it. I liked how the matcha had a depth of flavour and the milk mellowed it out. The strawberry pearls were an unnecessary addition in my opinion as they didn’t add or take away anything from the drink. The pearls did have a strawberry flavour to them which was surprising but it was on the artificially flavoured side. They also offer strawberry pearls to go with any of their other drinks. I do think that the drink would have paired better with brown sugar pearls!

Damascus Rose with Vitasoy

I’m not the most adventurous when it comes to drinks but I loved vitasoy as a kid so I had to give this drink a try. I’ve never really tried many rose teas so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The rose flavour was actually much stronger that I expected. On the first sip, all I got was rose! Luckily, it didn’t taste perfumey or soapy though! The vitasoy added creaminess to the drink and the brown sugar pearls added sweetness! I’d recommend this drink to those who prefer floral teas.
