Grayson and I were staying on campus for a few extra hours to finish a few things up and while there are a bunch of places to eat on campus, we were craving sushi. Grayson has been to Irori sushi before and said that it was super delicious. I’m always up for trying new restaurants so we headed down to Irori sushi to grab some takeout.
The interior wasn’t very large but they had a decent amount of seating and the tables were spaced out enough for the seating to be comfortable.
Look at all the fresh fish they have on display! They also had a few whole saba on the counter that they were about to fillet!
Filled with soft tofu, kanpyo, carrot, avocado, asparagus, lettuce and cucumber goodness. I’ve never had a vegetable roll with tofu in it let alone silken tofu, but it was super yum and it was nice to actually have some sort of protein in my vegetable roll for once.
Fresh tuna belly and plenty of negi in there to compliment it. I liked how they had the green onion beside a chunk of the tuna instead of having it all mixed together in a mush like how they do it at a majority of Japanese restaurants.
