After a few days in London and Lisbon eating delicious food, I was craving something healthier and was so glad we were living close to Flora and Fauna. Flora and Fauna is a vegan friendly cafe located close to Santos station in Lisbon.
The exterior was a bit hard for me to find because of how hidden it looked but the pop of green really helped me spot it.
The interior was a total contrast to the outside because it was brightly lit with pops of colour and plants everywhere.
Their menu mostly consists of breakfast style items including smoothie bowls, smoothies, toasts, pancakes and waffles. They also have a feature menu for new items that they are just trying out.
Although there were lots of options on the menu, I decided to go with the detox smoothie bowl because I hadn’t had greens in a while. It was the least dessert-like out of all the options but it was what I needed. The smoothie had avocado, apple, spinach, lemon, ginger and spirulina. It was then topped with some roasted nuts, seeds, kiwi, orange segments and coconut flakes.
