Steve’s poke bar Metrotown

Steve’s poke bar Metrotown is the newest addition to the Steve’s Poke Bar brand. The Steve’s poke bar Metrotown looks similar to the other locations with white, navy and blue being the colour scheme of the restaurant. Similarly to the other locations, this spot has a few tables inside for patrons to sit at if they choose to dine-in.

Since my last visit to Steve’s Poke Bar, they have made a few changes. They created an app for ordering ahead, implemented a star system to earn rewards and increased their portion size by 25%! They also got rid of their small size bowl so they only have one size to choose from now. Their standard build-your-own-bowl starts at $11 and the price can change depending on if you choose to add premium toppings or additional scoops of poke.

I’ve pretty much tried out every poke option here and my go-to remains to be the shoyu ahi tuna. It’s so flavourful and the ahi tuna is good quality too. I always get every topping under the sun so my poke bowl ends up being super full! To be honest, I was skeptical about the “25% larger portions” claim but I was proved wrong. They did this by increasing the portion size of the quinoa, rice or salad base. Needless to say, still a huge fan and LOVE everything they have to offer here.
