Hon’s Sushi Burnaby

Hon’s sushi is located in Burnaby along Kingsway. They offer a variety of sushi, Japanese and Korean style dishes to choose from. Hon’s Sushi also offers a variety of sushi combo platters that come with free items if you order through a food delivery app.

Fried chicken

I was surprised to find that even after delivery, the fried chicken was super crispy! It came with a spicy mayo type sauce that was a nice accompaniment to everything.

Maki rolls + California rolls

Standard rolls, nothing too special here. Great filling to rice ratio!

Spicy tuna roll

Their spicy tuna roll has tempura bits in it so the inside is a bit crispy which added nice texture. The tuna had a good balance of spice.

BC roll

Not my favourite roll in general but there wasn’t very much salmon skin so it was alright.

Katsu don

Unfortunately, the katsu didn’t stay crispy since it was a delivery order. It was well breaded and had an ample amount of sauce to flavour everything though. The egg on top was a nice touch
