Grayson and I decided to explore Granville Island after dinner one day and dessert to go for dessert. It was a gorgeous 30 degrees outside and a cold treat was definitely in order. We managed to stumble upon GI gelato coffee house that served both gelato and decided to give it a go.

The cafe itself wasn’t very large but it over looked the water and had patio seating as well. I liked that you had the option to sit outside. The view overlooking the water was gorgeous on that sunny day!

Although I believe that they specializes in gelato, we decided to get a mango sorbet because Grayson likes sorbet much better. The gelato and sorbet options were pretty sparse because most of them were sold out already! I guess that is to be expected on such a sunny day.

After a spoonful each, we both looked at each other and thought that it tasted exactly like frozen mango pudding! It was a little too sweet for me (as with most things) but Grayson enjoyed the rest of it thoroughly which is rare because he literally never eats dessert!
