Grayson and I decided to have a snack at Pho D’lite located in the SoLo District across from Brentwood Mall. We only ever come here for Whole Foods so it was nice to come to a restaurant here instead.
Pho D’lite has a pretty typical menu for Vietnamese restaurants. They have your noodle soups, rice, vermicelli and appetizers dishes. The thing that stood out for me was that they serve pandan tea. The only other place I’ve seen this is at Mr. Red Cafe.
We decided to get a noodle soup and a prawn salad roll to share. I like that they have so many options to choose from in regards to their salad rolls. We could of been adventurous and chosen the tofu pineapple one but since it was our first time here, we decided to go the safe route. The salad rolls here are $3.50 each which is pricier than most places out there. I don’t think the roll was any better than other’s I’ve had so I wasn’t too impressed with this.
Grayson’s beef brisket pho came with a handful of bean sprouts and a few thin slices of beef brisket. We weren’t impressed with this at the price of $10.50 for a large bowl. If either of us were going to spend that much on a bowl of pho, we rather head over to Broken Rice.
