I haven’t eaten sushi for so long that I’m already salivating as I’m writing this post. Japanese food is something I can never get enough of. You know that ONE food that you always crave? Yeah that’s what Japanese food does to me. You know what I mean?
The day that we decided to go try Hakone sushi was a little chilly so we decided to get a warm soup with our meal.
It was filled with mushrooms of all varieties, tofu, seafood and asian greens. The soup had a perfect miso base that added a depth of flavor without being too salty.
Last but not least, sushi is ALWAYS in order so we decided to get a salmon and avocado roll, beef teriyaki roll and a vegetable roll (because you can’t forget your veggies)!
My favorite was the veggie roll of course and I really liked how they added the mango for a bit of sweetness but that’s only because I got it during mango season…so I doubt it’d be as good if the mango was sour 🙁
