Lil bun, mother deer and I went out for dimsum brunch a while back because I was craving the mushroom buns they had at Golden Lake.
We ordered shrimp rice rolls and shrimp dumplings because those are one of our favorites to get for dimsum. There was plenty of shrimp in both and were glad they didn’t skimp out on the fillings.
Then got the mushroom buns we came for. Aren’t they the cutest things? These steamed buns are filled with shiitake mushrooms just as their exterior suggests!
For dessert, we decided to get fried sesame balls that were filled with red bean paste. These are one of lil’ bun’s favorites. She isn’t allowed to get them often so she definitely savored them.
