Dinesty Dumpling House a popular Chinese restaurants in Vancouver. There are a few locations throughout the metro-Vancouver area including downtown, Burnaby and Richmond. Dinesty Dumpling House offers traditional dim sum, noodles, rice, seafood, entrees, and rice dishes!
These egg roll pancakes are eggs surrounded by a flour dough wrapper. The exterior was super crispy and the egg inside was still slightly gooey. This is part of their breakfast menu so it’s only available until 2:00pm. While we enjoyed our first piece, we didn’t go back for another because they were too oily for our liking.
Soup dumplings are a must have when it comes to Chinese food. These dumplings had a thin wrapper on the outside. The dumpling was filled with pork and cabbage. They weren’t as good as the ones I had from Ding Tai Fung but definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in Vancouver. The dumplings came with a ginger, vinegar and soy sauce to put the dumplings in.
I’m a huge fan of rice cakes so it only makes sense that I ordered the Pork and preserved vegetables rice cakes. The rice cakes were softer than what I prefer and the salted preserved vegetables made the dish far too salty to eat very much of as well. Needless to say, not one of the favourites of the visit.
