Delicious Pho – Coquitlam

Hi Friends! We are back at Delicious Pho again! Delicious Pho has quickly become Grayson and I’s favorite Vietnamese noodle spot. Not only do they have reasonable prices but they have super generous portions too!

The first thing we noticed when we got there was that they completely revamped their menu! Instead of having things in a menu book, the menu was now one double sided page. We thought this looked much more sleek and highlighted their dishes very well.

Rare beef and brisket pho

Grayson decided to get the rare beef and brisket pho but was told that they ran out of brisket that day so he got the rare beef and beef ball pho instead. He got his pho in the large size and was surprised by how much noodle there was in the bowl because he usually gets the small size. What he noticed was that the only difference between the small and large size pho was the amount of noodle. He would have liked it better if more meat came with it because he ended up with a lot of noodles left towards the end with nothing to eat it with.

Spicy Hue

I decided to take a leap of faith and try something new so I got the Spicy Hue. It came with a spicy broth, fish cake and beef. The broth was spicier than their spicy seafood soup but it wasn’t overbearing. The beef slices were tender and soaked up some of the broth which made it all the more flavorful. The noodles here are thinner than other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to but I prefer it this way. Needless to say, this is still one of my top pho spots!
