Artisan Sake Maker

Located in the heart of Granville Island, this little shop offers sake tastings, Japanese snacks, and even sake ice cream! They have outdoor patio style seating and will bring the food out to you when it’s ready. You can choose from a variety of sake and enjoy it with tasty fried snacks or ice cream! They even offer a sake float if you’re feeling adventurous.

We tried out the matcha flavour of sake ice cream and it had floral undertones and a unique texture from the sake. Definitely recommend! They also do chocolate, raisin and ginger flavours too!

Our friends did their sake tasting of each of their sakes and a couple of them were even non-alcoholic! Who would have thought they had those! They said that they liked the variety of the drinks and that some of them were on the sweeter side. Each tasting comes with 5 different types of sake served in disposable cups for cleanliness.
